CTG Budget Operations Specialist in Morrisville, North Carolina

CTG is seeking to fill a Budget Operations Specialist opening for our client in Morrisville, NC.

Location: Morrisville, NC (hybrid remote)

Duration: 12+ months, with the possibility for extension

Duties:

  • Budget and Funding Management:

  • Partner with NA and worldwide marketing operations and Alliance Partner teams to ensure alignment on budget processes, funding allocations, and utilization.

  • Coordinate steps related to the creation and tracking of vendor Statements of Work (SOWs).

  • Manage purchase order submission, tracking, status updates, and issue resolution.

  • Assist Marketing Managers with invoices and required proof of work review prior to approval to ensure compliance with Lenovo procurement and governance policies.

  • Proactively collaborate with Marketing Managers to ensure correct alignment with co-marketing fund usage, request, review, and proof-of-execution guidelines to enable full claims reimbursements.

  • Assist with gathering and submission of co-marketing proof-of-execution package for reimbursement.

  • Maintain budget data in the budgeting/reporting platforms.

  • Business Management System (BMS) & Reporting Support:

  • Package and maintain required content for Business Management Systems (BMS) and stakeholder readouts.

  • Maintain schedule and planning for reviews and stakeholder readouts.

  • Manage SharePoint logic and usage, including set-up, access, and archiving processes.

  • Operational Excellence & Collaboration:

  • Serve as team focal for the latest information on all Lenovo Marketing Operations policies, procedures, platforms, and trainings.

  • Enforce compliance with all relevant Lenovo marketing operations policies and processes related to budget ops, procurement, and co-marketing funds.

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing operations teams and NA ISG & SSG Commercial Marketing to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve operational efficiencies.

  • Initiate and/or contribute to improvements in assigned business processes that assure data quality and improve compliance with relevant policies.

Skills:

  • Strong budgeting and financial tracking skills.

  • Experience with procurement processes and vendor management.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and produce reports.

  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Business Management Systems, and other financial reporting platforms.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce compliance with policies.

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in budget operations, financial planning, or a related field.

  • Experience working in marketing operations, procurement, or finance is preferred.

  • Prior experience in co-marketing fund management and compliance is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
