Description and Requirements

Job Description:

Lenovo is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Marketing Manager to join our Data Storage Solutions team.

The Data Storage Solutions team is part of Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and is responsible for driving the profitable growth of our storage business including delivering new storage products and solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing technical marketing strategies to promote our storage products and solutions. You will work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to create compelling content, drive product adoption, and support our go-to-market initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering and product management to prioritize solutions and technical marketing content

  • Create and deliver compelling technical content, including whitepapers, case studies, product datasheets, seller training, and solutions collateral

  • Own the roadmap and execution of storage management tools which simplify our customers’ management and monitoring of storage products

  • Act as a technical evangelist for our storage products, driving excitement internally and externally

  • Educate Lenovo sellers and marketing teams on the technical value of our products and solutions enabling deeper collaboration with customers and technical value selling

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical marketing, product management, or a related role within the storage industry.

  • Strong understanding of storage technologies, products, and solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling technical content.

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing technical marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Passionate technologist with a customer centric mindset. Capable of getting into the details without losing sight of the bigger picture.

  • Experience working in a large, matrixed and global organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing technical content for end-to-end solutions including compute, storage, and networking

  • Knowledge of software defined and hyperconverged solutions

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology
