POSITION:
GROUP LEADERS ADVENTURE CLUB
After School and Summer Programs
HOURS:
After School Program hours:
2:45 p.m. 6:00 p.m. Monday Thursday
2:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. Friday
Will be scheduled to work full days on teacher workdays and during some
school breaks between the hours of 7:45 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.
Summer Program dates/hours: June 10 August 16, 2024 (or last Friday
before beginning of UI Fall Semester)
Work up to 9 hours/day (maximum of 40 hours/week) between the hours of
7:45 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
SALARY:
\$15.98/hour
START DATE:
As needed for after school and summer programs.
JOB
Supervising K-5 grade children during: after school hours; teacher
in-service
RESPONSIBILITIES
days; and the Summer Adventure Club program. Other job duties include:
planning and facilitating activities; cleaning and maintaining the site;
and working as a member of a team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with K-5 grade school age students, preferably in a
large group environment. Ability to communicate effectively and follow
written and oral instructions. Read and speak English. Ability to
supervise student activities for safety and provide assistance to
children as needed. Ability to work in a team atmosphere and collaborate
positively with others. Ability to develop activity plans for K-5
graders.
