  • [Responsible for inspecting electro mechanical products including components, subassemblies and/or systems to ensure conformance to requirements in a fast-paced environment, encompassing incoming/receiving/in-process/final inspection as required. ]{arial",sans-serif"=""}
    • Visual/magnification aided inspection for accurate, consistent, component placement and quality solder joints.
    • Identify PCA defects such as shorts, excess and missing solder, cracks, solder bridges, missing components.
  • Verify conformance to specified dimensions, drawings, assembly drawings, work instructions, kit sheets.
  • Inspection and review of test data sheets.
  • Able to solve practical problems.
  • Possess keen visual actuality and knowledge of quality control, production processes, and other techniques for maximizing and maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Approves in-process product and finished products.

*Job Qualifications: *

  • General understanding of electronic components, electronics design and manufacturing
  • General knowledge of IPC-A-610 all classifications
  • Knowledge of thru-hole and SMT parts with respect to polarity and component identification
  • GED/High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Quality Inspection: 4 years (Preferred)
  • IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD-001
  • High attention to detail is critical in this role.
  • Strong verbal/written communication as well as organization/interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to keep accurate records using electronic and paper media.
