Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Network Administrator in Mount Kisco, New York. The role is within the telecom provider industry and involves providing network support, troubleshooting network communications issues, and assisting with risk management security and compliance initiatives for certificate encryption services.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide network support and resolve issues related to routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Assist with risk management security and compliance initiatives for certificate encryption services.

• Analyze critical system network services to support ongoing IT LAN/WAN network infrastructure initiatives.

• Manage and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager), Unity, CIMP, and Expressway.

• Conduct regular upgrades on network devices for security compliance.

• Familiarize with routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGP.

• Offer system integration and VPN network support services including IPsec tunnels.

• Provide support and assistance with ongoing Disaster Recovery projects.

• Define project planning and network integration solutions to the IT Network infrastructure.

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot on-premise networks, providing documentation and network improvement designs.

Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies is a must.

• Experience with EO/IR systems is necessary.

• Demonstrated ability to work with Firewall Technologies.

• Familiarity with Microsoft products and services.

• Experience working with Active Directory.

• Proficiency in Backup Technologies.

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware.

• Strong understanding of Configuration Management.

• Experience in Design.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field is preferred.
