Job Description

Coordinates and processes the ordering, stocking and maintenance of supplies and equipment for perioperative service areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Places and tracks orders for perioperative supplies and equipment from materials department and outside vendors.

  • Receives, validates, and stores supplies and equipment.

  • Transports perioperative supplies from the receiving dock; maintains appropriate par levels in perioperative service areas at all times.

  • Adheres to operating policies and procedures regarding the storing and distribution of supplies.

  • Identifies any damage and/or missing items and facilitates replacement and/or refund, as required.

  • Follows established procedures and government regulations in tracking various medical devices.

  • Processes and tracks equipment repair, consignment and loan activity.

  • Enters all activities into department computer system.

  • Maintains paperwork and electronic records related to perioperative supply and distribution functions.

Job Qualification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $32,800-$48,540/year
