Job Title - High School Science Teacher Knox County Career Center Schools is a public school district located in Mount Vernon, Ohio that serves preschool students, over 600 high school students in 20 career technical programs at Knox County Career Center, and adult students in 13 career technical programs through Knox Technical Center. Our educational environment is committed to preparing students for success.
Start Date: August 1, 2024
Reports To: High School Principal
Salary: Based on experience and set per Salary Schedule from Negotiated Agreement.
Work Week/Year: 186 Days
Minimum Requirements:
Current Integrated Science 7-12 High School Teaching License
Ability to develop and implement curriculum.
A proven genuine interest in high school-level students.
Willingness to work closely with vocational instructors to meet student needs.
Student communication skills and an ability to relate well with students, staff, parents, and the community.
Teamwork approach to education
Must complete BCI/FBI and drug test
