Overview
The Branch Administrator oversees the operations of a single location or
branch as an assistant to the Branch office Manager. Job duties may
include monitoring the proper operation of the facility, handling the
daily accounting duties, and performing various administrative
functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Resolve all inquiries and maintain inventory of all office supplies
and place required purchase orders and perform all clerical work for
all sales groups.
- Monitor processing of all branch transactions and prepare reports
for all return goods and assist Quality Improvement tram to enhance
all services and prepare all required paperwork for same.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all clients and
staff.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable department and monitor all payments
to branch and vendor products sold at branch and maintain records of
all inventories to ensure smooth functioning.
- Provide technical support to all branch activities and maintain
professional relationships with customers and sales departments to
resolve all customer issues.
- Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance
of all administrative staff.
- Review hours worked by staff for accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree plus 5 years\' experience; or an equivalent combination
of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload
around multiple assignments.
- Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update,
persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of
management.
- Communication skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of
individuals and departments.
- Working knowledge of payroll concepts, practices, and procedures
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet,
database, email, and internet- based applications and accounting
systems.
Physical Demands
- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable
amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a
computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine.
- Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional
to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing,
and stooping.
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or
pulling up to 15lbs
