Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in hardware power electronics, or 6 years of experience with advanced degree.
Experience in system electronics power architecture or DC/DC design.
Experience in AC/DC products design, circuit topology, or regulatory specifications.
Preferred qualifications:
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in wireless charging.
Experience with on-board power design in consumer electronics.
Experience in battery fuel gauges, algorithm development, firmware development, circuit design, and verification for battery management.
Experience in system power delivery, voltage regulator, power IC, and power electronics.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Lead system power design and validation for Pixel Watch from schematic to layout, and from bring-up/validation to production.
Simulate and design complex power circuits like battery charger, fuel gauge, wireless charging, audio amplifier, PMICs, etc. Select critical power components to optimize power system electric performance, bill of materials (BOM) cost, and design trade-offs.
Drive innovative new technologies or new applications of existing technologies. Partner with power industry leaders to lead evaluation and adoption of the most compelling cutting-edge technologies to create the most power efficient wearable products.
Engage cross-functionally with teams to ensure successful power system design, integration, and complete validation.
Provide technical leadership and direction while troubleshooting complex system-level power network issues.
