place to give care. Job Summary This position is responsible for
pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with
procedures, discharge instructions and carries out both administrative
and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. This position is
instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating
with the provider throughout the patient\'s visit. What you will do *
Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
* Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and
prepare patient charts. * Coordinate provider schedules and

patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or
certification. * Prepare patients and assist medical providers with
in-office procedures and prepare and administer
medications/immunizations. * Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be
within infection control standards. Ensure appropriate levels of medical
supplies for each patient room. Education Qualifications * Current
clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, or Graduation from an
accredited school of practical nursing Required Experience
Qualifications * Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience
as a LPN/MA/EMT obtained through professional MA/LPN/EMT work experience
or completion of student clinical rotations. Required * Current
clinical experience as a Medical Assistant Preferred * Current clinical
experience as a Licensed Practical Nuse Preferred * Current experience
as an Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced Emergency Medical
Technician Preferred Skills and Abilities * Knowledge of principles and
skills needed for practical nurse or medical assistant to provide
patient care * Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to
administer patient care * Knowledge of common safety hazards and
precautions to establish a safe work environment * Fosters work and
patient relationships through excellent interpersonal skills and
behaviors. * Ability to work under stressful or emergency situations
with high concentration and energy level * Ability to prioritize work
and meet changing demands. * Ability to work in a fast-paced
