Develop and execute advanced cybersecurity strategies tailored for hybrid cloud and application security, ensuring robust defense mechanisms are in place to protect against cyber threats.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of cybersecurity experts, promoting professional growth and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Architect secure infrastructures for both cloud-based and traditional systems, aligning with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and NERC CIP to safeguard our digital landscape.
Conduct comprehensive security assessments and audits across all platforms, identify vulnerabilities, and orchestrate remediation efforts to bolster our defense mechanisms.
Design and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls, particularly emphasizing the secure development and deployment of in-house applications.
Deploy and manage cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS, as well as application security tools like WAFs and SAST/DAST, to enhance our security posture.
Coordinate incident response activities with precision, from investigation to resolution, minimizing impact and preventing future occurrences.
Collaborate extensively with IT, DevOps, Platform Engineers, and software development teams to ensure the integration of security practices throughout the development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and deliver targeted cybersecurity training programs for all employees, emphasizing secure coding practices and raising security awareness across the organization.
Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, especially those related to application security, to continuously refine and enhance our security measures.
Share knowledge and best practices within the cybersecurity community, representing 1898 & Co. as a leader in application and cloud security innovations.
Professional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing and developing cybersecurity teams.
Proven expertise in leading the creation and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity programs, including team development and strategic oversight.
Strong proficiency in incident management and familiarity with security technologies pertinent to application and cloud security.
Project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies, to effectively plan, prioritize, and execute development projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Must have experience in leading and managing geographically dispersed teams, demonstrating strong capabilities in remote collaboration, communication, and project management to ensure cohesion and productivity across different time zones, cultures, and languages.
Experience with DevOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
A solid understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, NIST, NERC CIP) and their implications on cybersecurity strategies.
Qualifications
The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech/B.SC degree in Information Technology or any related field .The candidate should have a work experience of 7-10 years.
