SCM plays an essential role when it comes to securing our global supply chain for Environmental, Social and Governance aspects and meeting Siemens’ expectations towards our stakeholders. Our team is focused on sustainability assurance, performance and value. We continuously enhance our proven “prevent-detect-respond” approach and manage the decarbonization of our supply chain. We work together as a team with a broad network of internal and external partners.

Be part of a highly engaged team and create impact by:

  • Initiating and managing meaningful initiatives to anchor sustainable procurement requirements into SCM programs/ methods/ processes with respective stakeholders and owners

  • Developing and implementing solutions for requirements out of respective sustainability programs (CSRD, LkSG, Circularity, EHS, etc.) to support centrally-managed sustainable procurement and due diligence programs

  • Additionally, being responsible for driving engagement around sustainable procurement with employees and suppliers by targeted measures around communication, collaboration and competence development

Your success is grounded in:

  • Having a university degree (master's degree / diploma) preferably in economics, sustainability, business excellence or comparable background

  • Bringing at least 5 years of professional experience e.g., in procurement, consulting, project management, ideally related to sustainability

  • Having excellent skills in communication, project and change management, especially in cross-functional or business overarching projects or programs

  • Bringing a proven ability of successful implementation / anchoring of concepts in programs and processes

  • Having a strong understanding of the change management aspects and successfully dealing with resistances

  • Being a great team player

  • Having business fluent skills in English and German
