Trinity Health HVAC Technician - 40 hrs/week in Muskegon, Michigan

Description:

Operates and maintains all aspects of boiler systems, emergency, generator systems, HVAC equipment and mechanical equipment. Conducts preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, procures parts and services. Performs all types of plumbing repairs, general maintenance duties and security functions.

Schedule:

40 hours per week - 6am- 4pm - will work Wednesday to Wednesday 10 hour shifts 8 days on 6 days off.

Summary:

Operates and maintains all aspects of boiler systems, emergency, generator systems, HVAC equipment and mechanical equipment. Conducts preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, procures parts and services. Performs all types of plumbing repairs, general maintenance duties and security functions.

What you need:

  1. High school graduate required, with formal training in basic electrical or electronic theory preferred.

  2. State of Michigan Mechanical, license minimum requirement.

  3. Maritime or powerhouse experience with boiler operation.

  4. Demonstrated knowledge of equipment methods and materials to maintain HVAC equipment, and a certificate to allow handling/purchase of refrigerant, operation to include but not limited to electrical systems and pneumatic control circuits.

  5. Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA safety standards.

  6. Ability to operate power tools and complex test equipment.

  7. Valid Michigan driver's license.

  8. Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the
