This position offers the opportunity to work within the Utility Portfolio Section of the Right of Way Division at the Texas Department of Transportation. The role involves collaborating with a team to ensure top-notch customer service, provide training, and tackle challenges within the Right of Way Leasing Information System (RULIS) and TxDOTCONNECT. Job duties also include conducting research, supporting customers with technical issues, and communicating effectively with external and internal stakeholders. Independent performance of assignments and potential documentation of workflows and standard operating procedures are also part of this role. Additionally, provide support to the administration of the Utility Accommodation Program at TxDOT which includes updating training materials, manuals, reference guides, job aids, drafting email communication, presenting at team meetings plus internal and external trainings, and assisting the utilities team with other project related tasks. Essential Duties:Works on the ROW Applications Helpdesk to answer emails for customers with issues or training questions related to the Right of Way Utility and Leasing Information System (RULIS) and TxDOTCONNECT.Presents at team meetings and monthly helpdesks on various topics related to daily work. Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
