Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in a financial services industry. You will be tasked with handling various accounting functions, including financial analysis and statement preparation, as well as managing accounting software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process financial data and generate financial statements
• Conduct financial analysis within the framework of a financial institution
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in the preparation of financials
• Develop procedures based on notes and previous records
• Manage the closing of books for specific periods
• Prepare reports for government agencies based on previous months' data
• Oversee the card services department operations
• Demonstrate a robust understanding of general accounting principles
• Manage the transition of computer systems, specifically from xp2 to portico
• Handle ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and accounting functions
• Utilize SQL and other credit union services as necessary
• Oversee billing functions within the organization Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Must have experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in Accounting Functions is necessary
• Experience in Billing Functions is crucial
• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements is required
