JOB DESCRIPTION: The Front of House (FOH) Supervisor is an integral part
of the front of house management team, working closely with the
hospitality manager, assistant general manager, and general manager.
This is an inspirational team leader whose primary responsibilities are
an impactful floor presence in-service, connecting and building
relationships with guests, and maximizing the functionality of the
Taproom & Beer Hall. The supervisor role will place a strong emphasis on
holding teammates accountable to company standards of service and
hospitality while ensuring that company culture is upheld at all times.
This individual will assist management with producing and implementing
new training materials to further staff education and will be diligent
in seeing that the company steps of service are upheld throughout
service. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Responsible for assisting with the
development and implementation of new training materials under senior
management directive. *Ensures that product consistency is being
achieved through ongoing training of bar staff when it comes to batches,
syrups, and other beverage related products. *Allows empowerment
amongst the staff to help develop each other based on individual
strengths *Seamlessly work with and support the FOH management team by
actively participating in nightly preshifts and educational training.
*Thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus for both Beer Hall and
Taproom. *Contributes to daily logs and communication mechanisms for
the restaurant. *Supports all venue-level change management activities,
ensuring effective and accurate communication of new product, service
and operational information and skillfully guiding the team to optimal
performance. *Leads team members through effective and efficient
operational execution, including shift tasks and routines as well as
proper facilities upkeep. *Always seeking to connect with guests,
cultivate relationships, and create regulars *Listens to guest and
staff needs and expectations by being approachable and positive, with an
energetic attitude *Quick to react in a way that is suitable for a
particular situation including displaying skill in leading and
navigating hard conversations with grace, maturity, and decisiveness
*Takes initiative, seeing what needs to be done, and being proactive to
keep things always moving forward *Ensures guest safety within the
venue, inclusive of entertainment safety, continuously monitoring and
addressing any foreseeable risks to guest\'s health and welfare, as well
as food safety, ensuring adherence to all food safe processes and
standards *Seeks to make Night Shift Natick as busy as possible by
monitoring and adjusting reservations daily *Ensures continuous
compliance with all relevant federal/state laws, insurance requirements,
landlord regulations, and company policies *Ensures labor and
controllable costs stay consistently within guidelines set by the
company *Daily cash management, reconciliation, and audits *Assists
with beverage inventory *Working closely with the hospitality manager
to achieve company key initiatives *Other duties, as assigned MUST-HAVE
SKILLS: *Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays as well as
emergency responsiveness as required *Able to work ten hour-plus
shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods
of time, walk up and down stairs, and read *Able to grasp, reach
overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds *Ability to work well
under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Highly organized
with strong attention to detail *High integrity and professionalism
*High School education or equivalent
