JOB SUMMARY
The Analyst, CSS Data Analytics is responsible for accurate and timely delivery of relevant data, reporting, dashboards, and analytics by establishing and following efficient processes, identifying issues, researching technical questions, and working with business partners to understand, address and present solutions to issues. This position will create or assist in optimizing work processes, eliminating manual activities thru process automation and will provide oversight to the accuracy of indirect sales tracings. This position is based at the Johnson & Johnson Manila campus on J&J Flex work schedule, supporting US customers during its business Office hours (Pacific Standard Time).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines, this position’s responsibilities may include:
Partner with Commercial Leadership to build and deliver monthly key sales metrics that provide objective insights to the Field Sales Force to efficiently execute action plans
Partner with IT, Commercial Marketing, Commercial Operations and Strategic Enablement (COSE) CSS Data Analytics teams to ensure all analytics systems, data warehouse, Marketing Pathway sales tools and related automated apps are updated and maintained to support the needs of the business
Partner with J&J Health Care Systems, Information Technology, Commercial Operations & Strategic Enablement and Commercial Leadership to build and deliver data monthly key sales metrics that provide objective insights to the Field Sales Force relating to sales and indirect sales coming out of CSC channel
Partner with Compensation team on compensation metrics or data queries needed for compensation calculation
Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Sales) to provide insights that support the development of forecast recommendations for business planning and financial updates
Develop and continuously improve reports that expedite the execution of field sales force activities that result in improving sales productivity, in coordination with IT, Sales, and Marketing
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next Management level
Leverage Salesforce, Qlik Sense, Excel, Access, SQL, Python, Microsoft Power Apps, and other reporting tools to meet requirements. Use automation technologies to eliminate manual processes and optimize workflow
Provide automated and/or ad hoc metrics and measurements reports/dashboards as needed in the primary Qlik Sense applications or Microsoft Excel.
Support ongoing development and implementation of Commercial deployment strategies
Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE
BS or BA in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, IT, data science, analytics or related field is required. MBA or MS is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of progressive work experience or proven educational experience is required
Experience in medical device, or healthcare field is preferred, but not required.
A proven track record of working in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed is also required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Leadership, collaboration, communication, and analytical skills are required. Ability to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines is required.
With supervision, ability to understand, translate and integrate multiple data sources into actionable insights to drive decision-making is required. Must be comfortable working with large data-mining exercises.
Demonstrated success in creative problem solving and team partnership is required.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills are required.
Advanced Excel data management and coding skills using VBA, SQL, and Python are required, and knowledge of analytical tools, app development, and process automation (e.g., Tableau, Minitab, SPSS, SAS, or Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power Apps, Python) preferred.
ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The work environment is a normal office setting. Domestic travel is estimated at less than 5%.
