Amergis LVN - Group Home in National City, California

$40 hr

Job Summary:

As an LVN at our group home, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to adults with intellectual disabilities. Your responsibilities will include medication administration, nursing assessments, and coordination of patient care. You’ll work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of our residents.

Location:

· National City and Escondido

Schedule:

· Full-time (40 hours per week)

· Shift: PMs (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM)

Primary Responsibilities:

· Administer medications following established protocols

· Conduct head-to-toe assessments

· Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight)

· Assist with breathing treatments

· Maintain accurate documentation of patient care

· Collaborate with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other team members

· Ensure compliance with agency standards and guidelines

Qualifications:

· Current LVN license in the state of practice

· Preferably at least 1 year of experience in psychiatric acute care or a related clinic

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

· Successful completion of screening tests

· Ability to communicate effectively and participate in de-escalation techniques

· Must pass criminal background screening

· Current TB test or chest x-ray

· PALS/ACLS certification (as per contract requirements)
