Chevron Corporation Power & Compression Team Leader in Neuquen, Argentina

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Power & Compression Team Leader through May 5, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Responsible for the Management of the following areas:

  • Generation, Transportation and Distribution of Electrical Power. Maintenance of Medium and low voltage systems. External service contracts for Electrical Maintenance, Power Supply and Small Capital projects engineering. Conventional and Unconventional gas compression.

  • Responsible for founding and managing OPEX and CAPEX accounts associated with the area of responsibility. (Provisions, Outlook). External grid power purchase management, responsible for monitoring and proper administration of operations and maintenances contracts. Develop new technical specifications for new required services. Monitoring, planning, and coordination of activities associated with the Energy and Compression areas. Definition of operating premises adapting it to different processes. Direct interaction with Provincial and National Entities (COTDT, EPEN, DISTRO CUYO, CAMMESA). Monitoring, planning and coordination internal electrical system maneuver and its interaction with the National Grid. Management of electrical maintenance service. Enabling the Medium and Low voltage systems of the Unconventional development and the supporting energy transition and lower carbon projects developed by the company. Responsible for the field gas treatment and compression systems associated with Conventional and Unconventional Resources.

  • Highly qualified in fostering and champion the use of Electrical Safety, Gas Compression Standards and Environmental performance in our operations applying National and Industry Std Codes and Practices (Código Eléctrico Nacional Argentino, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, API, Chevron Engineering Standards, ISO, others).

  • Develop and follow up of KPIs for continuous improvement for both Power and Compression Operations.

Special considerations

  • At least 5 years of experience in personnel management

  • Leadership and teamwork skills

  • Operative base: El Trapial Field

  • 14x14 rotational Schedule

  • The successful candidate should be willing to stay in the position at least 3 years before applying for a different position.

  • Intermediate/Advanced English level
