Job Description: Provides instruction to patients and/or caregivers on
the proper use of equipment and/or respiratory care procedures. Educates
patients and/or caregivers to ensure equipment is operated and
maintained effectively. Provides and operates various types of
respiratory care equipment including but not limited to oxygen therapy,
apnea monitoring, suctioning, nasal CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilation.
Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
Prepares and maintains a record for each patient including all necessary
paperwork Consults with referring physician regarding patient treatment,
medical condition and home environment. Completes ongoing education and
training sessions regarding respiratory patient care. All other duties
as assigned. Qualifications: At least one year related experience in
required You must have one of the following valid licenses: LPN, RN, or
RT (either RRT or CRT) Must be willing to travel Must be willing to work
some evenings and weekends Must be able to work on-call if necessary
Must possess a valid and current driver\'s license and auto insurance.
