The successful candidates for this position will engage in teaching in the dietetics supervised practice program. The teaching will be less than a full semester in an academic year and the candidates will not be regularly appointed Rutgers employees, per the Coad Casual-99910 description. These positions are required to help handle the increased responsibilities that Nutritional Sciences faculty have had as a result of COVID pandemic to support supervised practice formerly offered by volunteer preceptors in off-site facilities (e.g., hospitals). The Class 8 Coad Faculty will ensure greater uniformity in supervised practice experience quality. An additional benefit of the Class 8 Coad Faculty should be active dietetics practitioners who are fully up-to-date with innovations in the field. We believe this model will be an innovation other programs will emulate. We anticipate hiring faculty in nutrition specialty areas, each teaching for less than a total of one semester/year. Pay will be determined based student contact hours commensurate with the current part-time lecturer rates.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
The successful candidates for this position will have master's degrees or higher in nutritional sciences or related field, be a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, and have at least 2 years professional experience dietitians.
