Minimum Education and Experience | Interested candidates should have an advanced degree in nutrition or related field, and be actively engaged in community and public health nutrition outreach with at least 5 years of recent community nutrition experience. |
Certifications/Licenses | |
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Prior work experience in federal programs delivering nutrition education to members of the community (e.g., SNAP-Ed, EFNEP, WIC) and teaching undergraduate seniors or graduate university level courses addressing the course content is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with the Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) credential, demonstrated evidence of past teaching effectiveness, and experience teaching in-person and quickly transitioning to online instruction during public health calamities. |
