Job Title: Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will work in a warehouse environment with a total of 12 other employees. Our facility produces meat sticks supplied to local supermarkets and convenience stores. This role involves operating mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, stock picker lift trucks, and RF Scanners to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks.

  • Operate and maintain RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer).

  • Accurately and timely select customers’ orders.

  • Accurately complete work order sheets.

  • Work on both the Receiving and Shipping docks as needed.

  • Unload trucks and validate deliveries against appropriate documentation, notify supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies.

  • Unload meat trucks and complete weighing and temperature review of each pallet, documenting each measurement, and notify Supervisor or FSQ of any discrepancies.

  • Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use.

  • Distribute received items to the appropriate person or department.

Essential Skills

  • Experience operating forklifts.

  • Material handling skills.

  • Inventory management skills.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Experience with packing and picking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Thursday, from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM. Employees will receive a premium of $0.75 added to the base rate. The total compensation is $20.55 per hour. The work environment is a GMP environment, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, and other PPE as deemed necessary.

This is a Contract position based out of New Glarus, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
