Hair Ventures LLC has an opening for a Director of Digital Media in New York, NY. This is a hybrid position; must work in the NY office 3 days per week and may work from home up to 2 days per week.Develop and execute digital media strategies aligned with overall business objectives and brand positioning/target audiences, including but not limited to social media marketing, influencer partnerships, content marketing, and digital advertising. Design complementary and concurrent strategies against brand awareness, new and evergreen product campaigns, customer acquisition & retention, and targeted sales delivery. Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all digital media channels, maintaining a strong brand identity and voice that resonates with target audience. Act as a steward of the brand for all digital media efforts, agencies, and vendors. Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, Spotify, podcasts, etc.) to drive traffic, leads, and sales. Lead multi-faceted digital campaigns through SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media advertising, digital display ads, and content marketing. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across all digital media channels, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement. Develop and manage digital media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including brand marketing, sales, product development, and creative, to ensure alignment and integration of digital media strategies with overall business goals. Will supervise one Digital Media Manager.Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Marketing or in a related field and at least 7 years of progressive experience in a digital media marketing or related role with a focus on beauty brands and e-commerce. In the alternative, at least a master's degree or its equivalent and 5 years of experience in a digital media marketing or related role with a focus on beauty brands and e-commerce would be acceptable. Must also possess the following: at least 5 years of experience with digital marketing principles and best practices, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and digital advertising; at least 5 years of experience managing digital advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok, Google Ads); at least 5 years of experience with innovative and challenger brands, such as Olaplex, Amika, Khaite, and Jenny Kayne; at least 5 years of experience using analytics to interpret data and insights, using the following platforms: Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager, Google Data Studio, Klaviyo, Pinterest Advertising, Display Advertising, Shopify.
