Description
Shopbop is looking for an innovative, results-driven Demand Replenishment Planner with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive high revenue growth in our core offering. The planner will partner with the merchandise planning and buying teams to optimize both our assortment and inventory levels within our core replenishment business to achieve financial objectives. The successful candidate must be able to move beyond applying standard templates for solving problems, challenge the status quo and support the team with creative, innovative ideas that are translated into actionable insights for the business.
Key job responsibilities
Review sales history, seasonality, and recent trends to develop size-level forecasts and units needs that align with category financial targets and in-stock rate goals
Partner with buying and planning to align SKU level needs with top level category forecasts
Optimize ordering cadence with vendors to achieve inventory goals
Consistently review assortments and recommend changes in partnership with buyers and vendors to increase sales and inventory productivity at the SKU level
Manage total company replenishment reporting, driving a high standard for analytical excellence
Partner with Data Science and product teams to optimize and improve replenishment tools, reports, and models

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, MBA a plus.
5+ years of merchandise planning experience and/or related industry experience (consulting, investment banking).
Experience designing and building new processes.
Advanced knowledge and use of forecasting tools.
Advanced excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of achieving financial objectives.
Proven strong analytical acumen to identify and resolve business performance issues specifically in forecasting and planning models, and strong technical and operational experience.
Online Retail experience
Hands-on or entrepreneurial attitude. Self-starter.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $123,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
