JOB DESCRIPTION Adjunct Instructor- Play-based Activities Continuing Professional Studies, Bank Street College of Education Job Description:Design and teach a workshop on Designing Play-based Activities (see description below).The class will be offered over two days in the Summer of 2025. The audience is classroomteachers from a variety of backgrounds looking to expand their practice. TEWS666NDesigning Play-Based Activities for the Pre-K-First Grade ClassroomThis workshop will focus broadly on how to design and implement curricula in pre-kindergarten,kindergarten, and first-grade classrooms that are, or strive to be, interdisciplinary and play-based.We will explore ways to integrate social studies, language arts, math, science, and art activities,as well as how to scaffold and differentiate these activities to make them more inclusive and toaddress a diverse range of student needs. The unique and specific contexts of your settings willbe taken into account. Start Date: 2 weekdays Summer 2025 Compensation $900 Compensation includes development and instruction.
