Veralto Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intern in New York, New York

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and test AI use cases using various machine learning techniques

  • Analyze AI test cases to extract meaningful insights and patterns

  • Assist in the deployment and monitoring of AI models in production environments

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AI-related issues

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI processes and methodologies

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Basic analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of the company

  • Performs well under pressure and adheres to deadlines

  • Detail-oriented

  • Forward-thinking attitude, ready to experiment and grow in the generative AI field

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning

  • Foundational understanding of AI concepts, machine learning models, and the ability to work with large, complex datasets

  • MS 365 experience (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel) is preferred

  • Basic project experience in AI is preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell

  • Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.

  • Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $20.00 - $25.00 USD per hour.
