Business Analyst, Murex SME (New York, NY) Mizuho Americas Services LLC JOB DESCRIPTION: Interact with various business teams to gather requirements for their reporting needs, develop reporting frameworks and utilized requirement traceability matrix to deliver reports to varying levels of management. Lead a team of associates to facilitate the implementation of a Derivative trading platform called Murex. Oversee the development of a risk assessment framework to mitigate risks pertaining to Murex Engaging with senior management on the direction of the project(s). Define data schema and data storage mechanisms. Connect murex software to internal and external data feeds. Engage in Murex DataMart table design with Dynamic and SQL based financial table. Design instruction engines, strategy back-testing engines, and reporting applications. Interface work associated with other in-house applications. Coordinate with business users to perform UAT and get approval for the code release. Telecommuting is permitted. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.Experience must include five (5) years with each of the following:1.Implementing modules and functionalities in derivatives system: Murex, leveraging core calculation modules (Pricing /Position management/ risk management).2.Using technologies including XL, VBA, SQL, Unix, and the Murex trading platform.3.Performing financial modeling, statistical analysis, and computer programming.4.Participating in software documentation.5.Working with the Rates flow business.6.Analyzing business requirements, assessing problem areas, and initiating the resolution process.7.Providing training for end-users.8.Reviewing and justifying architecture and design decisions.
