Business Response Engineer (Citadel Securities Americas Services LLC - New York, NY); Multiple positions available: Offering a salary of $195,000 to $225,000 per year. Provide first and second level support for fundamental equities including PM's Analysts, Associates, and COO teams; front office staff, and other product-oriented franchises across various regions to quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise, ensure continuity and mitigate risk to the business. Audit and support the productivity of Risk, Research, Order Management, Position, Risk, and P&L tools. Partner with investment professionals to gather business requirements and present these requirements to various IT teams to ensure delivery of functionality of enhanced products and systems. Coordinate and participate in investment team onboarding, training and marketing of all front office tools/applications and workflows. Assist in the deployment, checkout, and QA testing of applications to automate processes and increase productivity. Audit and review Front Office IT systems to ensure data integrity and source reliability. Participate in global coverage of system support & SOD/intraday health checks. Work with senior business leads in New York/Chicago to align and coordinate initiatives with Chicago/NY accordingly and vice versa. Propose system and process improvements to increase efficiency and mitigate risk.Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or investment business procedures and/or partnerships. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Investigating issues pertaining to profit and loss, risk and Greek calculations; Utilizing Jira for incident management, including communication of issues to relevant stakeholders, working through resolutions and tracking follow ups; Working with Excel plugins and VBA scripting in the context of financial modeling; Scripting and automation including developing tools in Python, automating manual workflows and investigating existing code to identify issues and bugs; Managing the entitlement and permission structure across the business and act as a point of contact for questions and onboarding new entitlements; Maintaining order management or risk systems including order entry and trade bookings; and Responsible for training the business, onboarding new workflows and investigating issues pertaining to OMS or order entry systems.
