THE OPPORTUNITY : As the New York Post continues to enhance, upgrade, and streamline our HR platforms and processes, we are seeking an innovative HR Operations Manager to help execute and lead this transformation toward an elevated employee service experience. Come join our team!

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, you will use your creativity and analytical know-how in equal parts. You will identify opportunities for process optimization and own and leverage data which you will translate into compelling narratives to help drive our business strategies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and shape HR efficiencies and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

  • Own reporting. From extractions to analysis, develop and maintain key HR metrics and dashboards to identify trends and patterns.

  • Lead The Post’s march towards full utilization of our HRIS system- Workday. Collaborate with News Corporation’s HR Ops and Tech teams to ensure The Post’s needs are met in future Workday releases.

  • Manage the implementation of Workday’s self-service model overlay- Sofi, from timeline to communications, work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure a successful delivery.

  • Build and leverage relationships across other News Corporation business units that have gone through system transformations. Take back learnings to create a playbook with action steps for The Post.

  • Collaborate with our Finance Payroll Director on enhancing payroll system workflows, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Experience in payroll system change is a plus.

  • Assist with year-end compensation system preparation and planning.

  • Other meaningful projects as needed.

  • Direct oversight of HR Associate.

What you’ll bring:

  • An ability to diagnose and resolve system and process bottlenecks by making sound recommendations for implementation.

  • An ability to analyze data, understand trends, and provide insights into why it matters.

  • Your consultant and results-oriented mindset!

  • Your excellent communication skills and desire to work with varied personalities and work experiences.

  • Your demonstrated experience with Workday capabilities; experience using and developing teams’ usage of Workday.

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Curiosity and the ability to present solutions not roadblocks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree a plus.

  • A minimum of three years of substantial and directly relevant experience in HR Operations

  • High working knowledge of Workday, Excel and Google Suite (deck creation).

  • Diligence and accuracy in data management and reporting.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with an initiative-taking and self-motivated attitude.

Note: The New York Post adheres to a hybrid work model.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000
