How you'll make an impact:
The SiriusXM podcast content operations team is looking for a highly motivated manager to oversee day to day operations in support of the extensive podcast catalog. This includes a multi-faceted range of responsibilities - from onboarding shows to SiriusXM Podcasts+ (a premium subscription offering benefits from SmartLess, Call Her Daddy, and many others) to improving distribution workflows, and overseeing the rollout of new podcasts from the hosting and distribution standpoint. We're looking for a keen operational mind who can help improve systems and support, manage, and motivate the team.
What you'll do:
- Supervise multiple direct reports, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
- Onboard new podcasts to the CMS, ensuring smooth and efficient setup.
- Initiate monetization setup, working closely with other internal stakeholders.
- Fulfill hosting and distribution requests from internal teams and podcast partners.
- Oversee research and outreach to acquire feeds from 3rd party podcasts for distribution via SiriusXM's app.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and handle high-pressure situations with calm and professionalism.
- Build, improve, and implement workflows, processes, and automations to increase efficiency across podcast operations.
What you'll need:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in podcast operations, digital media, or related fields.
- 3 plus years of management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and process improvement.
- Ability to multitask and work independently, with a solid track record of meeting deadlines.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. Experience with Salesforce and Monday.com are a plus.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $66,600 to $95,100 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
