Position Responsibilities
Assist in the design development of furniture layouts and products for interiors through sketching, drafting, and computer modeling.
Prepare product mechanicals and details.
Coordinate with the Interior Architecture Group to ensure all project requirements are met.
Assist in development of finishes and material selections for ongoing projects.
Demonstrates a basic understanding of Interiors and Architectural building materials and finishes, building systems, specifications, current and applicable building, design and detailing standards and construction techniques.
Demonstrates a basic knowledge of Interior Architecture and Architectural design including workplace planning and design concept development (hospitality and/or residential as applicable), design documentation, construction documentation, construction administration, and furniture (FF& E) and materials selection and specifications.
Manages time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from project leaders.
Minimum Qualifications
Effectively communicates with the project team and consultants through timely and appropriate written, oral and visual means.
Knowledge of 3D modeling tools, including 3D Studio Max, Rhino, Solid Works, or Studio Tools, as well as AutoCAD.
Knowledge of fabrication methods and technologies.
Demonstrates proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, VR, Adobe Suite, parametric, rendering & graphics software; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Compensation for this role is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education and typically ranges from $60, 000 - $64, 000.
