Job Description
As a Project Controls Analyst, the candidate will be involved in several projects and project teams at the same time, at various stages of the projects’ lifecycle, from inception through close-out, varying in complexity and value.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Prepare monthly financial reports.
Reviews purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures; maintains tracking database to ensure that funding is aligned with work authorization and expenditures.
Review and advise on uncommitted balances.
Review and advise on contingency balances.
Review vendor invoices / applications for payment
Lead the change control process.
Project financial close-out
Evaluate productivity versus budget limitations including preparation of variance analysis.
Compares actual cost to funding limitations; prepares expenditure forecasts to identify critical points in project funding.
Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated cost trending / forecasting.
Review and update monthly project schedules.
Participates in and may lead project cost and schedule review meetings.
Assists in procedure development and implementation.
Conduct periodic construction project site visits to monitor project progress and assure progress schedule integrity and participate in regular progress schedule meetings with construction team.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Requirements:
NYC Agency experience
Working knowledge of industry software (e.g., Oracle Primavera P6, Revit) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and work with technical and administrative personnel at different levels.
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00.
