Seeking Vice President on the RSF (Residential Structured Finance) Structuring Team.
Job Summary:
As a Vice President, RSF Structuring within the Global Securitized Products Group, you will create residential mortgage-backed security deals based upon communications with issuers, investors, traders, syndicate, rating agencies, accountants, trustees, and various other stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide structural options for various types of residential mortgage loans
Calculate and monitor capital exposures for the trading desks
Complete execution analysis to ensure transparency and understanding of deal execution with stakeholders
Interact with various stakeholders to prepare and review pertinent language for deal term sheet and offering materials including, but not limited to, cashflow waterfall pay rules, structuring assumptions and bond characteristics
Reverse engineer securitizations and model various collateral cash flow types
Run various cash flow scenarios for Accountant and Trustee tie out as well as Rating Agency stresses
Collaborate across functional teams including trading, sales, research, syndicate and technology
Work with third-party data providers (Bloomberg, Intex, Yield Book) to post, update and model new issue transactions as a part of the pre-marketing and marketing processes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
At least 5+ years of relevant experience in residential mortgage structuring at an investment bank, rating agency or other investment office
Strong working knowledge of various residential mortgage structural options
Strong quantitative and analytical skills including significant expertise in INTEX and Bloomberg
Experience with unstructured data, fixed income pricing and mathematics
Bachelor's degree or advanced education with quantitative or finance and accounting background
Excellent communication skills and strict attention to detail
Ability to work under competitive pressure, multi-task, prioritize and manage timelines, relationships and deliverables
