We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing! Responsibilities include research and analysis of enterprise-wide spend across Paramount Globals comprehensive spend data. This role will analyze spend and services used, identify trends, and build the data compilations and dashboards necessary to enable sourcing managers and leadership teams to identify and select opportunity areas that provide cost savings, process improvement, customer service improvements that support the achievement the organizations annual goals. This role will align closely with Sourcing Finance to ensure savings calculation methodologies and data analytics are in alignment with approved Global Sourcing Savings Framework practices.

The successful candidate will work across all Paramount Global Divisions, interacting regularly with partners in the Corporate, Divisional, and Local levels. With significant growth potential, this position provides an opportunity to work on projects in both traditional and non-traditional spend categories! You will proactively find opportunities to adjust processes and spending patterns for efficiencies and cost savings and engage the appropriate collaborators in the process.

Overview and Responsibilities:

  • Leverage e-Business tools, spend data, and all other tools/resources available to identify actionable cost-saving opportunities within the assigned spend categories.

  • Target categories of spend that are not covered by preferred contracts or harmonized under an existing sourcing strategy across the organization and model the rationalization and/or harmonization savings and efficiencies potential for Paramount Global.

  • Provide the data, modeling, and spend analysis necessary to enable competitive bidding processes, analyze competitive bidding proposals and support and prepare recommendations for executive-level decision-making.

  • Recommend new sourcing opportunities, strategies, process improvements as a result of spend analysis and trend identification across enterprise.

  • Draws conclusions from data and delivers scenario modeling to inform business strategies and decisions resulting in effective decision making by constituents.

  • Assemble the data and modeling necessary, with scenario analyses, to support sourcing managers with detailed negotiation planning.

  • Proactively taps into new sources of external data that can provide additional insights and context to analyses.

  • Calculate, frame, and document the savings summaries from RFP outcomes, and negotiation results, and sourcing strategy executions.

  • Regularly coordinate, align, and collaborate with centralized Global Sourcing data/analytical and procurement operations teams on overall Global Sourcing initiatives.

  • Perform risk and financial analysis to support sourcing decisions.

  • Contribute to enterprise diversity and sustainability goals through identification and analysis of diverse suppliers and carbon reduction opportunities across the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required, MBA a plus

  • Min 5 years of experience in analytics, sourcing, finance, or operations environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including ability to create complex models and charts

  • Standard knowledge of Tableau and Microsoft Office

  • Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem solving capabilities

  • Skilled with technology-based systems including spend analytics and i-procurement tools

  • Previous experience with Ariba and spend/reporting tools is a plus (i.e., SpendHQ)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a particular emphasis on data quality and integrity, to support sound and objective decision-making.

  • Strong attention to detail and cross-checking abilities to ensure accuracy and precision of data in analyses.

  • Excellent organization, prioritization, project management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in interacting with internal sourcing constituents.

  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

  • High proficiency or mastery of Excel and other Microsoft applications.

  • An eagerness to learn, personable demeanor, and demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively amongst colleagues, and across all levels of management.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $74,400.00 - 93,000.00.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
