Responsibilities and Impact:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Consultant to join us on a contract basis. This role will focus on developing targeted marketing and sales enablement materials for the Investment Management Community (IMC), conducting in-depth whitespace analysis to identify growth opportunities, and creating a strategic plan to capture this whitespace. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the investment management industry, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to develop compelling marketing content.

  • Marketing and Sales Enablement:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing materials tailored to the IMC, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and digital content.

  • Create sales enablement tools such as battlecards, FAQs, and competitive analysis documents.

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies.

  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with the IMC.

  • Whitespace Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify whitespace opportunities within the IMC segment.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to pinpoint untapped potential.

  • Develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.

  • Strategic Planning:

  • Create a strategic plan to capture the identified whitespace opportunities, including target client segments, key messages, and sales tactics.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to align on the strategic plan and ensure its effective implementation.

  • Monitor and track progress against the plan, making adjustments as necessary.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

OSTTRA states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on investment managers

  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing and sales enablement materials.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience conducting market research and whitespace analysis.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Deep understanding of the investment management landscape, including key players, trends, and challenges.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred.
