Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst to be a key member of the finance team supporting Devices Sales and Customer Experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative businesses at Amazon.

The successful candidate will have experience in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision-making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self-starter with strong financial modeling skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Key job responsibilities

Job responsibilities include:

  • Lead trade credit process for offline resellers

  • Drive core Goals processes for the Devices Sales & Customer Experience Org.

  • Create, improve, and maintain financial metrics, reports and scorecards, prepare variance analysis for financial review meetings

  • Identifying key call outs, drivers and provide fact based insights into variance and trends to help business leaders solve business problems

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

  • 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

  • MBA, or CPA

  • Knowledge of Tableau

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
