Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience working with timing protocol (NTP/PTP) and large-scale synchronization systems.
Knowledge of oscillator principles, including performance characterization and how those effects manifest at the system level.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Design, develop, and test critical software for TrueTime service.
Develop new services and APIs for distributed systems primitives.
Work with team members to debug/diagnose issues, load test new changes, or assist users in production when Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) needs assistance.
Self-direct individual contributions and help set technical direction for a small number of adjacent engineers. Scope problems, recommend solutions that consider both short and long-term needs, and implement the solution or delegate the implementation to colleagues.
