As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Major responsibilities
Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Ad-hoc projects as required
Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Requirements - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
General familiarity with month end closings
Proficiency in financial reporting
Demonstrated knowledge of journal entries
Experience with Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Adeptness in Work Papers
Solid understanding of SAP
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Balance sheets experience preferred
Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
ERP system experience
Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
