Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

The AWS Marketplace team is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical for the AWS Marketplace Insights and Analytics charter.

  • Lead product requirements, define features, and work closely with product managers, UX designers, and software engineers to deliver those features, including leading go-to-market strategies.

  • Develop a strategy and roadmap to drive a long-term plan for how AWS Partners and Marketplace can make the most of their analytics and reporting experience.

  • Own externally facing applications (and APIs) used daily by thousends of AWS Partners to run their businesses.

  • Define business impact and behavioral chaning metrics and insights to share directly with AWS Partners/Sellers

  • Communicate effectively to all levels within the company, both in writing and in meetings.

  • Engage with various customer personas including AWSsellers, channel partners, and internal AWS service teams to improve our customer experience.

We’re looking for someone who understands that billions in sales for AWS Marketplace is just the beginning, and that a analytical insights and reporting is key for partners to build on will unlock the next stage of our growth. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
