Position Overview

Join RSM's Process Risk and Controls Practice as a Temporary Manager in a fast-paced environment. You will lead client projects, assess internal controls, and manage risk strategies for financial services clients. This role requires strong technical expertise, including the ability to perform queries, and a core audit background.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead internal audit engagements, including risk assessments, control testing, and process improvements.
  • Conduct queries and data analysis to support audit findings.
  • Assess controls for broker swap deals and other complex financial transactions.
  • Review reports, test plans, and present risk assessments to senior management.
  • Oversee project budgets, team performance, and client deliverables.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of internal audit or internal controls experience in financial services.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to perform queries.
  • Experience auditing broker swap deals.
  • Core audit background in financial institutions.
  • 4-5 days on-site in NYC required.
  • CPA or CIA certification preferred.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $56 - $84 per hour |
