BNP Paribas Vice-President (Equity Derivatives Structuring) in New York, New York

Vice-President (Equity Derivatives Structuring) for BNP Paribas Securities Corp. in New York, NY to perform the structuring of financial instruments, including Equity Derivatives, Hybrid Derivatives, and Quantitative Investment strategies. Will design, price, market, and transact in a range of equity and hybrid derivatives products for Global Markets Americas. Will respond to requests regarding complex financial derivatives. Will leverage quantitative skills, programming skills, and knowledge of advanced derivatives to create innovative products suited to market conditions and client needs. Will develop, maintain, market, and transact quantitative investment strategies. Will research financial data and financial time series to create investment strategies, leveraging quantitative skills, programming skills, and an understanding of quantitative strategies. Will coordinate with structuring, support functions (including counterparty credit risk, market risk, compliance, legal, marketing, other asset classes, and other regional teams), and trading to support the sales effort. Will prepare technical product presentations on a range of derivative products and/or quantitative investment strategies. Will present derivative products and quantitative investment strategies to clients (including Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Pensions, Endowments, Foundations, Insurance Companies, Distribution, and Corporates). Will contribute to the automation of the platform, including contributing to the development of in-house pricing software and proprietary quantitative analysis tools. Will ensure that the product offering is in line with the BNPP's trading capacity and policies. Will work on developing the offering of Hybrid Structured Products for Global Market Americas especially including Fixed Income or Commodities Exposure to classic Equity Structured Products. Will work as an intermediary between the US platform and EMEA BNP Structuring and Research teams.Requires: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics of Finance or related field of study (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and Three (3) years’ experience as a Vice President (Equity Derivatives Structuring) or related occupation in a quantitative finance role performing financial modeling and statistical analysis of financial data within an international bank or international financial services organization or alternatively, a Master's degree in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics of Finance or related field of study (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Vice President (Equity Derivatives Structuring) or related occupation in a quantitative finance role performing financial modeling and statistical analysis of financial data within an international bank or international financial services organization. Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) leveraging principles of stochastic calculus to leverage pricing, understand derivative products, and perform hedging; (DE) performing product pricing and design for Commodities Derivative products, Equity products, and Hybrid Structured products; (DE) leveraging Excel and Python to back-test, simulate, and price derivatives and quantitative investment strategies; (DE) working on Credit & Equity Hybrid products and performing Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) index design and pricing for Distribution business.
