The responsabilites of the Associate Research Scientist include:
Management of research projects and personnel
Grant proposals and administration
Scientific writing
Data analysis
Regulatory compliance (federal, state, institutional)
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $40/hr. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Minimum of 5 years working in a laboratory setting
Masters degree in Neuroscience
Masters degree in Management (MBA, MPA, etc.) preferred, OR 5 years additional work experience in research management or administration.
