Panasonic North America Sales Compensation Analyst in Newark, New Jersey

Overview

This is a hybrid role working 2 days per week out of our Newark, NJ headquarters.

Panasonic Connect utilizes CallidusCloud to track and automate the sales commissions payment process. The Sales Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining these processes, ensuring accurate data capture, and supporting the sales team.

Responsibilities

What You Get to Do:

  • Support day-to-day commission administration processes.

  • Increase overall sales productivity through data analysis and reporting.

  • Evaluate performance based on sales quotas and develop KPIs.

  • Process commission payments and manage payroll files.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and understand their business strategies.

  • Enhance and develop incentive compensation management systems.

  • Set operational goals and KPIs with executive management.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and maintain product knowledge.

  • Improve commission processes through automation and recommendations.

  • Train salespeople and provide functional support.

  • Manage and implement commission plans with third-party vendors.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Commission Administration: Support day-to-day operations and administration of sales commission plans and processes.

  • Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report sales-related data to increase overall sales productivity.

  • Performance Tracking: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate performance based on sales quotas.

  • Payroll Processing: Create and submit monthly payment files to HR for payroll processing.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop working relationships with key stakeholders and understand their business unit strategies and requirements.

  • System Enhancements: Manage enhancements to the incentive compensation management system and coordinate with developers to design and develop requirements.

  • Operational Goals: Set operational goals and MBO incentive compensation KPIs in partnership with executive management.

  • Employee Support: Research and respond to employee inquiries on a timely basis.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of products, services, policies, and procedures.

  • Process Improvement: Analyze operational processes and issues, offering alternative business solutions and proactively developing recommendations to further automate and improve the commission process.

  • Training: Train new salespeople on Callidus dashboards and provide functional support.

  • Business Process Improvements: Recommend business process improvements and oversee new process implementation and configurations in Callidus by a third-party vendor.

  • Commission Plan Management: Become an SME on all commission plans across the organization, run simulation models for new commission plans proposed by HR, and work with third-party vendors to implement new plans into Callidus.

  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and familiarity with incentive compensation management systems.

The salary range below is just one component of Panasonic Connect's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.

Salary Range

$85,000- $105,000 + Bonus REQ-147923
