CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Reliability Engineer to join our team in Newcastle!

The Reliability Engineer will be a key role within the business intelligence function of the team, focusing upon life cycle management of key infrastructure assets on site. The role holder will oversee the assessment and management of the reliability of operations that could impact upon hard services provision and ultimately client core systems on site.

The primary focus will be to determine the reliability of equipment, processes and systems covered within the contract and as defined in the associated asset lists for site. The role holder will work with CBRE hard services maintenance managers, client facilities & infrastructure managers and key end users to identify opportunities to improve loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management. This will involve the identification and conduct of appropriate analysis, to understand better system awareness and develop solutions to benefit the client. As well as identifying potential failures, the role holder will help facilitate root cause analysis and conduct investigations as directed by the account lead.

Job Details

  • Monday to Friday

  • 8am - 5pm with flexibility

  • On site full time

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a technical reliability role or similar, in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Multi skilled engineering background

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes and tools used to analyse and manage asset reliability.

  • Ability to read, understand and sketch technical drawings (machine and process) and literature to gather or present relevant work order information.

  • Experience and knowledge of: Vibration Analysis Category I, Ultrasound Category I, & Asset Reliability Associate
