Position:EVS Maintenance

Reports to:Facilities Manager

FLSA Status:Non-Exempt

Position Summary:Responsible for the daily maintenance, clean up, and repairs of the interior and exterior of the Casino property ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests and staff. The ultimate responsibility is to ensure that the customer is impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and adds to the exceptional experience for each patron.

Essential Duties:

  • Landscapes property grounds (weed eating, mowing, flower bed maintenance, etc.)
  • Continually cleans gaming floor carpets.
  • Buffs and waxes all hard surfaced floors.
  • Constructs small building projects.
  • Handles small plumbing repairs.
  • Paints and touches up walls when needed.
  • Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, plumbing, machinery and all other maintenance problems by taking appropriate action as required.
  • Drives company equipment and vehicles for promotional runs to the warehouse.
  • Loads and unloads promotional gifts at each property for the Players Club.
  • Performs regular pool maintenance (THC only).
  • Empties trash from cans into the dumpster.
  • Performs regular maintenance to all company fleet vehicles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a current driver license to drive company vehicles.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and hand tools.

  • Ability to repair and maintain equipment.
  • Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively in both verbal and writing.
  • Ability to deal with diversity.
  • Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
