Job Title: Low Voltage Technician
Job Description
Seeking two experienced low voltage technicians to perform electrical installations at Riverside Medical Center and potentially NN City Center. This role involves access control installations and security camera installations. The ideal candidate should be DCJS certified or willing to become certified. The primary location for this position is Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA.
Responsibilities
Perform low voltage electrical installations.
Install and troubleshoot access control systems, card readers, and security camera systems.
Connect locks and hardware related to access control.
Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with clients.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed on time.
Maintain reliable transportation for traveling to job sites.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in low voltage electrical installations.
Experience in access controls, troubleshooting, and security camera systems.
DCJS certification or willingness to become certified.
Proficiency in pulling wire, installing, and terminating CAT 5/6 cables.
Ability to use multi-meters and other relevant tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Commercial or marine experience is required.
Construction knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
Good driving record and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
