The Azure Storage team is hiring a Software Engineer to join an agile and diverse engineering teams for deploying Data Processing Unit (DPU) technology.
As a Senior Software Engineer in Azure Storage, you will help build performant scale out block storage on DPU hardware. You will be involved in all phases of software development lifecycle; design, implementation, test, deployment and support.

Responsibilities
Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a feature.
Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
Assists and learns about breaking down work items into tasks and provides estimation.
Reviews current developments and proactively seeks new knowledge that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with 7+ years of technical experience AND 2+ years technical engineering experience coding in C and/or C++ OR equivalent experience.
Experience in Kernel level programming and device drivers.
Experience in the development of embedded storage products and/or storage protocols such as SAS, SATA, NVME
