Aston Carter Payroll Advisor (CSR) in Norfolk, Virginia

Aston Carter is hiring Customer Service Representatives to work with a large payroll company in Norfolk, VA!

Pay: $23/hr

Hybrid Model: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Description:

  • Working with clients to answer questions and assist with issues regarding payroll, using the platforms, etc.

  • Handling a book of business with clients that they will develop relationships with

  • Working on navigating the internal landscape to find solutions for customers

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Able to work within multiple systems at once - can be proprietary but anyone who can use internet based platforms will work well

  • Strong data entry skills in a fast paced environment, deadline driven - min 2 years professional experience in an office setting

  • Able to be customer facing and provide clear communication and reporting via email

  • Experience problem solving and thinking critically on the fly with a deadline

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

• Call volume: 40+ calls per day but some days it might be 15-20 depending on the time of the month and time of year

• You have an assigned client load but also take the market as a whole of other associates are out

• Do not have scripts or talk guidelines so it needs to be someone that can speak off the cuff professionally

• Inbound calls, inbound emails, and inbound cases generated in the portal
