Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator I to join our team in Norfolk, VA .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

  • Works under general supervision.

  • Performs daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.

  • Optimizes system operation and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.

  • Provides assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area

  • High School Diploma

  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification or higher is required

Clearance Requirements:

  • Current Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
